These are some notes on extraordinary people. People’s whose ability very clearly transcends what we think is reasonable or even possible for human beings. They amaze and inspire us.

Kai Hou is the example that causes me to start writing about this. I come across a video of him on YouTube. He looks like the most accomplished gymnast in the world and what he does defies belief.

Sam Bryant is an example of self transformation. His journey has been extraordinary, starting body building at the age of 44 his dedication has created a body that belies his 70 plus years and it is that dedication rather than his achievement that I find extraordinary.

“Master yourself and you can master anything” says the narrator in this film on Parkour. The film is extremely well made and captures something about being extraordinary.
