Prison Slavery in America

The connection is made between the exposure of torture by American military personnel at Abu Ghraib and torture by guards in the American prison system. An article on Dissident Voice makes the connection between America’s prison system and slavery. It shows that slavery in the US did not end in 1865 but went underground.
