Dreamhost continues to have problems. I was worried that I had done something very wrong when my sites disappeared after I had been playing around with my MySQL databases but then the whole Dreamhost.com site became unavailable and has been unavailable for over two hours though the NYPO and Netstorms sites came back. It was a relief to know that I hadn’t lost the sites because of my actions but the possibility of me doing something wrong as I experiment more with web development and the possibility of a Dreamhost catastrophe reminds me that I need to backup stuff.

I want to stick with DH, I’ve been with them for a long time, they’re relatively cheap and it would be a real pain to move.
